How do I turn a photo into a drawing?
Upload your photo to the poster of your choice. Within 30 to 60 seconds, you'll see your own photo transformed into a drawing on your screen. Optionally add a name, date, or text, and order immediately. Prefer a fully hand-drawn portrait? That's also possible, via the hand-drawn illustrations.
How much does a drawing of a photo cost?
A portrait based on your own photo costs €29.95 in A4 size and €37.95 in 30x40 cm, regardless of how many people are in it. Each poster is printed on premium 192-gsm matte paper. What is the difference between watercolor and pencil sketch?
A watercolor is soft and warm in color, creating a vibrant and cheerful portrait. A pencil sketch is black and white, with fine shading and a classic, timeless look that fits beautifully in a calm or modern interior. Not sure? You will see both versions right next to each other before you choose.
Can I combine photos into one portrait?
Yes. Is everyone not in one photo, or does the dog belong there too? Email your photos to info@personalprints.nl and I will create a composite portrait from them free of charge. This way, someone who couldn't be there, or who is no longer with us, can still be part of the portrait.
What is an original Christmas gift with a photo?
A drawing of your own photo is a Christmas gift that won't end up in a drawer, but on the wall. Think of a family portrait for the whole family, a portrait of the grandchildren for grandma and grandpa, your best photo together for your friend, or a pet portrait for an animal lover. Your portrait will be delivered to your home within 1-3 business days, gift-wrapped as standard.
How long until I receive my poster?
A drawing from a photo or a poster that you design yourself will be delivered to your home within 1–3 business days. You can see the result immediately on your screen, so no proof print is needed. This also makes it in time for a last-minute gift.
Are you choosing a hand-drawn portrait? Then you will first receive a digital proof by email. Allow approximately 2 weeks in total, plus 1–3 business days for delivery.
What are the shipping costs?
Netherlands: €3.95 | Belgium: €5.95. Every portrait and poster is gift-wrapped by default.
What is the difference with a hand-drawn portrait?
With a portrait from a photo, you will see the result on your screen within 60 seconds and have it delivered within 1-3 business days. For a hand-drawn portrait, I do all the drawing myself. You will first receive a digital proof and can still request changes. In that case, allow about 2 weeks, and the price depends on the style and the number of people.
Can I return my personalized poster?
Because your poster is custom-made with personal information, returns are not possible. However, quality is paramount: if the poster arrived damaged or there is a product defect, please email a photo of the poster and the packaging. A suitable solution, such as a new copy, will be provided free of charge.
