How do I get a drawing of my dog or cat made?

Choose a sharp photo in good lighting, where the eyes are clearly visible. A rabbit, horse, or other pet is also suitable for a beautiful portrait.

Which style is best suited for a pet portrait?

You can choose between a watercolor and a pencil sketch. Watercolor is soft and warm, in color, and brings out the color of the fur beautifully. A pencil sketch is black and white, with fine shading and a classic, timeless look, in which every hair and whisker is brought to its full effect. Not sure? You will see both versions right next to each other before you choose.

Can multiple pets or I myself also be on the portrait?

Yes. Two dogs, a dog and a cat, or you together with your pet: if you are together in the photo, you will all be included. Are you in separate photos? Email them to info@personalprints.nland I will combine them into one portrait free of charge.

Can I have a portrait made of a deceased pet?

Yes. A drawing of your deceased dog or cat is a tangible memory that a photo on your phone cannot provide. An older photo also works, as long as your pet is clearly visible.

What is the difference with a drawing from a free AI app?

A free app often creates an image that is mainly suitable for your phone. At Personal Prints, you get a sharp illustration that is suitable for printing, even in 30x40 cm. Your pet's face remains clearly recognizable, and the colors match well with what you see in the editor. On the 192-gram premium matte paper, they look just a little softer than on a bright screen.
