A starry sky maternity gift captures the moment a family is complete. Somewhere between the first night with too little sleep and the feeling that time stands still, the starry sky looked exactly as it did on no other night: unique for that one little baby, on that one date, in that one place.
A maternity gift that goes beyond a set of baby clothes captures that exact moment, instead of ending up in a drawer after a few months. Below are three personal ideas for the starry sky poster, from the classic star chart to a playful jungle version for the nursery wall.
1. The exact star configuration of the birth day
The starry sky birth poster shows how the stars were aligned on the date of birth, at the exact location of birth. You enter the date and location yourself via the live editor, see the result immediately on your screen, and only order once the design is perfect. No proofing or waiting time, the poster is at your home within 1 to 3 business days.
This is the classic, timeless version: calm, minimalist, and suitable for any interior. Add the name, birth weight, or birth time as text on the poster for an extra personal detail, or choose a simple version without text if you prefer to let the star map speak for itself. Price: from €21.95.
2. A playful jungle version for the nursery
For those who prefer something more cheerful, there is the jungle starry sky birth poster. Same idea, same star configuration, but incorporated into a playful jungle theme with animals surrounding the starry sky. You design this poster yourself as well, with the date and place of birth as a base.
This variant works well as a maternity gift for parents who have already decorated the nursery in a safari or animal theme, and is just as easy to customize as the classic version. Also great to give at a gender reveal or baby shower, well before the birth itself. Price: from €21.95.
3. The starry sky of the moment you became parents
Slightly less strictly tied to the birth date is the "when it all began" starry sky poster. This version provides a little more room for your own text: a short welcome message, a name, the time of birth, or a small poem next to the star map of that day.
Lovely for parents who prefer to see their own words on the poster rather than just coordinates and a date, and a nice gift to give as a brand-new grandparent. Price: from €21.95.
